Careers Information, Education Advice and Guidance
Maidenhill School offers an extensive Careers Information and Education Advice and Guidance syllabus that supports pupils to prepare for their future education and career pathways. This is embedded in the years 7-11 Learning for Life and Ethics and Philosophy curriculum delivered by teachers and the SGS Schools’ Careers Service. In addition, students attend local careers events and talks by visiting guest speakers. The school’s careers programme is mapped against the 'Gatsby Benchmarks', a set of national guidelines for the school to aspire to in the provision of vareers education, advice and guidance. Recent Ofsted reports state that "Independent careers advice and guidance provided by the school is a strength."
