Maidenhill School Tie
Available from Batemans and our internal school shop. Student Leaders appointed in Year 11 will wear a specific tie to denote their responsibilities and leadership within the school.
Shirt
Long or short sleeved, plain, white, with a conventional collar and no logos. Shirts must be long enough to be worn tucked in at all times. Vests/t-shirts worn under shirts should be plain white and not visible.
Trousers
Plain black, smart, tailored trousers with a plain black, simple belt, if needed. The following are NOT permitted: jeans, chinos, leggings, jeggings or cropped trousers.
Maidenhill Jumper (optional)
Jumpers are optional and vailable from Batemans. A smart, 'knitted style' plain black v-neck can be worn as an alternative. The following are NOT permitted: sweatshirts, hoodies or zipped tops.
Maidenhill Cardigan (optional)
Cardigans are optional and available from Batemans. A smart, 'knitted style' plain black cardigan can be worn as an alternative.
Skirts and Shorts (optional)
Embroidered skirts and shorts only vailable from Bateman's. Items should be worn correctly and not 'rolled up'.
Footwear
Should be a 'shoe' or a 'trainer' - NOT a boot. It must be entirely black and plain - this includes any logos
Socks
Socks should be plain white, grey or black.
Tights
Plain, black or natural colour tights only.
Jewellery
Jewellery must be easily removed for practical lessons. Ear piercings are allowed though earrings should be studs or small hoops. A single nose stud piercing is permitted. Necklaces may be worn underneath the shirt. Bracelets and rings worn must be subtle.
Make-up
Must be discreet. Artificial nails are NOT permitted
Hair
No extreme styles or colours. Long hair must be tied back for health and safety reasons in certain subjects. Hair bands and ties should be discreet.
Outdoor garments
Hats, coats, scarves and gloves must be removed inside the school buildings.
Please Note:

Non-Maidenhill Hoodies are not permitted to be worn on the school premises at any time.

Students may remove their blazer if they wish, however it should always be visible.

Headwear e.g. the hijab, durag or other religious/cultural headwear, may be worn for religious/cultural reasons but must be black in colour.
