Pupil Premium

At Maidenhill School, we are committed to ensuring that every student has the opportunity to reach their full potential, regardless of their background or financial situation. The Pupil Premium is additional funding provided by the government to help schools support disadvantaged students and close the attainment gap between them and their peers.
The Pupil Premium is allocated to students who:
- Are currently eligible for free school meals or have been eligible at any point in the last six years (known as Ever 6 FSM).
- Are in care or have been adopted from care.
- Are children of service personnel.

How We Spend the Pupil Premium at Maidenhill?
The funding is used strategically to remove barriers to learning and provide additional opportunities for those eligible. We carefully assess the needs of our students and allocate resources to improve both academic outcomes and overall well-being. These largely come under these four headings:
- Targeted Academic Support
- Social and Emotional Support
- Enrichment Opportunities
- Parental Engagement and Support

Monitoring and Accountability
At Maidenhill School, we track the progress of all our students carefully to ensure that the Pupil Premium funding is making a real difference. Regular reviews help us assess the effectiveness of our strategies and adapt our approach to meet the changing needs of our students.
We are committed to using the Pupil Premium in a way that maximizes its impact, ensuring every child has the support they need to thrive.
